Sales and Manager (£35K-£40K plus bonus)

An exciting opportunity to join Expedient Training who will formulate a sales and marketing action plan aligned against the business objectives in Expedient’s business plan.

The role

This role will ensure that both sales and marketing are aligned together, and channels are maximised to generate the best return.

The role will be both strategic and delivery related:

  • Management of an integrated Sales and Marketing Team
  • Development and management of the Sales and Marketing Action Plan
  • Driving importance around Key focus on inbound marketing (digital marketing)
  • Product identification and development
  • Development of additional sales channels through partners and consultants
  • KPI performance across the team
  • Bid writing and tender opportunity writing

The person

We are looking for a passionate and positive professional that can bring great experience to the business. They will be responsible for leading a team of sales and marketing people, reporting directly to the General Manager of the business.

The individual will need to have demonstrated success in previous roles, educated to a Post Graduate level in a sales/marketing discipline with over 5 years’ experience in a senior role leading a sales and marketing team.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a training background or if not, business services (e.g., consultancy, recruitment).

It is vital that the individual comes with good references and has been able to demonstrate a positive impact within a previous role.

Qualifications and experience

  • Preferably a postgraduate (Level 7) qualification within marketing
  • Degree (Level 6) within marketing or Level 6 within a business qualification that has included sales and marketing module
  • At least 5 years in a management role
  • Can demonstrate a positive impact on the business
  • A background within training or business services
