NOCN holds CPCS card event

The Construction Plant Competence Scheme was bought by NOCN from CITB in November 2018 and has been running the scheme for the last 12 months.

The organisation needed a venue to host an event to update training providers on their new system and where best? At Expedient in Jarrow, Tyne and Wear.

Training providers from across the North of England

NOCN approved training providers from the North East, Yorkshire and Cumbria  attended the event in November.

Expedient’s Quality and Compliance Manager, Lyndsey Gates tells us;

“As well as hosting our own training events, we open our doors to other organisations who require training rooms and we were delighted when NOCN chose to host the CPCS session at our site.”

Lyndsey who is responsible for Expedient’s compliance to awarding organisations such as NOCN, also attended the session;

“It was great to actually attend a course as a delegate at our fantastic venue! The session delivered by CPCS was really useful and informative.

I’m extremely proud of the high quality facilities we have at Expedient and looking forward to hosting more events for NOCN and CPCS in the future.”
