History
Expedient Training Services Limited (ETSL) has been established since October 2002, it has since that time, grown through organic growth and the acquisition of a complimentary construction plant based training company, Minster Safety Training Services, in 2006. The company now employs 21 direct employees and has an impressive client base of over 2000 diverse companies which includes; National Grid, Siemens, Balfour Beatty Utilities, Clancy Docwra, Northern Gas Networks and several Local Authorities.
From its early beginning offering City & Guilds GNO, Gas Distribution and Streetworks qualifications, the company now offers an extensive portfolio of circa 130 vocational courses covering Construction & Utilities, Plant Operations, Health & Safety, Confined Spaces and National Vocational Qualification awards.
It has an impressive array of awarding body accreditations including C&G, CABWI, CPCS, CAA, EUSL, HEA, HSE (First Aid), IOSH, RTITB, CSCS, ECITB and NPORS, offering vocational skills competency and Level 1 to 4 QCFs across all of their sectors. We hold an SFA prime contract and offer, in addition to its full cost training provision, funded routes for eligible QCF (NVQ) level 2 & 3 across its sectors.
In April 2011 ETSL was awarded a 3 to 5 year framework contract, in Gas Distribution and Gas Authorisation, to provide end to end training provision for National Grid, the largest of the UK’s gas network operators. The frameworks were won against stiff competition from incumbent national training providers and it is a national recognition of ETSL’s technical and customer focused abilities.
We have extensive experience in delivering employment and skills programmes for several organisations across the North of England: Working Links, Sencia, The Ladder Centre, South Tyneside Ten, Resources and Groundworks.
