Eco Installer PAS2030 training and qualification requirements

It’s very exciting times for the Eco Industry with new funding available to encourage homeowners to make their homes more efficient.

The most recent PAS2030:2019 standard was launched in June 2019 as part of the Government’s initiative to get 100% of the country’s existing dwellings energy efficient.

Eco installers can access funding so that their customers can benefit from huge savings on the installation of a range of efficiency measures. This is a huge opportunity for installers as it drives consumers to purchase creating a growth in the sector and for their businesses.

Expedient Training are delighted to be able to offer the qualifications and training that installers need in order to gain their PAS2030:2019 standard.

The PAS2030:2019 standard

PAS2030:2017 standard is being phased out and replaced with PAS2030:2019.

The new standard was introduced to ensure that there are higher degrees of competency required to gain certification. This in turn is to reduce the high numbers of poor quality installs that had been experience in previous years under other eco funded schemes.

The Government and Funders are encouraging installers to move to the new standard as soon as possible, offering a financial incentives of a 20% uplift.
