CASCADE
We have made substantial investment in developing and implementing our in house fully integrated CASCADE (Candidate Achievements, Scheduling, Certification, Administration, Documentation, Evaluation) software system. CASCADE combines sales activity, resource planning, candidate history, training documentation, student handouts, registration and certification with the awarding bodies, real time QCF assessment tracking and feedback analysis. CASCADE allows us to analyse feedback at the touch of a button by:
- Course Type
- Individual Course
- Individual Trainer
- Summative
The CASCADE system maintains a complete training record for all candidates who attend courses run by ETSL. We provide summary copies of training records for client candidates on request. These list all of the courses attended by individual, expiry dates and accrediting body certification for all courses attended.
CASCADE can be configured to interface with either clients’ or awarding bodies’ IT systems by agreement or request.
Our business model is to managing client training matrixes on their behalf, undertaking reviews of current qualifications against legislative and company requirements, expiry status and budget provision. These are undertaken with client management and form the basis for our annual training provision with them.
All of this information is used along with our other delivery to plan needed training intervention across the year. CASCADE combines sales activity, resource planning, course bookings, candidate history, reproduction of quality training documentation, registration and certification with the awarding bodies, real time NVQ assessment tracking and feedback analysis.
All activities within CASCADE has an audit trail and as communication with clients is by email there is an automatic reference point for these to be reviewed if necessary. Our planning calendar details by day / week the confirmed and proposed training deliveries and the whiteboard equivalent details this by trainer in more detail. From this calendar interrogation into bookings/ candidates / clients is fully integrated within the system, being automatic without the need to enter into another field. We can apply filters by trainer, activity grouping, facilities and booking status, giving us total flexibility in planning activities.
All training handouts and support information sits behind each of the course titles and total history candidate records are likewise stored along with scanned test / assessment records, certification and external accreditations. Recovery of this information is immediate and we have the ability to have these and quotations within someone’s email inbox within 5 – 10 minutes of a request.
Data from candidate feedback is inputted against each course and interrogation is simple being part of our ongoing / on request management reporting system.
We are proud of our in house developed software and believe it to be unique in its application, so much so that our most international client, Siemens enquired as to the opportunity to “lease” this from us for their application.
